I was looking for an alternative to the pricier mineral makeups, and am really pleased so far with Mineral Fusion. The coverage is excellent, it blends nicely with my own skin tone, and stays put fairly well throughout the day. The bronzer has a nice shimmer to it, and the hydrating prep spray feels great and really does help lay a good foundation for the powder. My skin does get a bit shiny towards midday, but blotting & a light reapplication are all that’s needed. I definitely prefer this bit of natural shine to an overly matte finish.

I did dock one star for the packaging, however. The cute little compacts, spray & brush are affixed to the package with an adhesive that refuses to let go. I wound up having to rip everything off the cardboard. It was very frustrating and I’m left with little bits of glue stuck to the containers, plus some ripped labels.
